At the Inspection Dinner held on Saturday, February 25, at Endwell fire station #1, the Board of Fire Commissioners handed out awards to those firefighters who devoted the most time and effort to our fire department in 2011. The Department responded to a total of 683 calls in 2011, including 142 calls during the period of September 7-9, related to Tropical Storm Lee.

The volunteer fire service has a long tradition of helping others in their own communities.
We invite Endwell residents to join us to continue this fine tradition by becoming a volunteer with the Endwell Fire Department.
The Endwell Fire Department provides essential services to the residents and guests of the Fire District as well as to neighboring communities under the Broome County Mutual Aid plan.
